A/Prof Farnad Nasirzadeh

Farnad’s research focuses on improving workers’ safety and performance in construction and infrastructure projects. He has worked as a consultant for around 20 years in several large construction projects. He has received numerous awards such as the best research award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Research Excellence award from IPMA (Project Management Association). Farnad’s research aims to achieve max performance for human using technologies like wearables, computer vision, and automation.

Dr Chandan Karmakar

Chandan is a Senior lecturer in the School of Information Technology (IT). His research expertise is to combine signal processing and machine learning to predict, detect and classify different healthy and diseased conditions.

Dr Hannah Bereznicki

Hannah is a Research Fellow and Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. Hannah’s research focuses on cognitive neuroscience, trauma, and mental health trajectories with the aim to improve mental health outcomes. 

Dr Abdul-Manan Sadick

Sadick is a Senior Lecturer in the School of A+B. His research has focused on how individuals interact with the constructed environment, aiming to optimize environmental performance while simultaneously prioritizing the satisfaction, well-being, and productivity of people.

Dr Ahsan Habib

Ahsan is a Lecturer in Software Engineering in the School of Infromation Technology at Deakin University. His expertise is to use machine learning to predict health issues.

Dr Mostafa Mir

Mostafa is a Data Scientist in the Centre for Work Health and Safety, SafeWork NSW. His professional work has focused on applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse large datasets related to work health and safety, and develop predictive models to identify potential risks and suggest preventive measures.
